Fury vs Wilder 2: The Fight Of The Year – All you need to know

Deontay Wilder (left), Tyson Fury (right)

The time has come for the most anticipated rematch since Canelo v GGG 2. Tyson ‘The Gypsy King’ Fury VS Deontay ‘The Bronze Bomber’ Wilder will go head to head in the early hours of Sunday morning .

The first tussle back in December 2018 was a titanic clash between (In my opinion) the 2 best fighters in the heavyweight division. 14 months on from the stalemate and that is still the case with the bookmakers not being able to split them (Both 10/11).

Since the first clash:

Deontay Wilder fought Dominic Breazeale on 18/5/2019 of which he won by a brutal Knockout in the 1st round. Wilder Breazed past him with relative ease and it was then onto veteran fighter Luis Ortiz. Ortiz proved a much more worthy adversary but in the end suffered the same fate, being knocked out in the 7th.

Tyson Fury went the somewhat easy route and stepped into the ring with young Tom Schwarz, this bout was subject to a 2nd round stoppage. Fury then went onto fight the undefeated Swede Otto Wallin, there wasn’t much hope for Otto in the build up but in the ring he showed determination and skill. However if you are to defeat The Gypsy King then you need those attributes in abundance, Fury had the technical ability and ended up winning by Unanimous Decision.

WHEN: 22nd February 2020

WHERE: MGM Grand, Las Vegas

TV: BT Sports Box Office for £24.99

TIME: Between 4am & 5am on Sunday morning GMT

My Prediction

I predict that the bout will go the distance and in the end i think Fury will come out on top and come away with the titles he was robbed of last time out. Fury will bob and weave his way round the ring avoiding Wilder’s power punches with relative ease.
